This term, P6&7 pupils have been immersed in our World War II topic as part of The World Around Us curriculum. Last week, they successfully integrated mixed-media techniques in their art lesson. The students created atmospheric pieces using oil pastels to build texture for the landscapes and watercolours for the skies. They completed the work with sharp, contrasting soldier silhouettes rendered in pencil and felt tips. The striking results are currently displayed outside our classroom and are posted here for you to enjoy.
