Beyond Bricks School of the Year
We did it - Offically Beyond Bricks School of the Year 2023/24
Beyond Bricks is Lego® Based Play that uses a 'recovery to discovery' approach, to enhance children's overall mental health and wellbeing, now and in the future. Beyond Bricks is brought to you by MindWise as part of Mental Health UK and funded by Lloyds Banking Group.
Understanding the need for mental health and wellbeing support for our pupils Carr Primary staff trained in and use the Beyond Bricks programme in school with all pupils. Carr also incorporate the programme into small group and individual sessions for those children who need additional wellbeing support.
At the annual Midwise "Making A Difference Everyday" celebration at Dunsilly Hotel, Carr Primary were acknowledged for their success in implementing the programme and the commitment made to enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of their pupils and awarded Beyond Bricks School of the Year 2023/24
