Lowercase b and d are easily confused by some children. Here are some worksheets if you feel your child needs them. The poster shows a simple reminder with their hands as to what shape each letter should be. Say the alphabet a, b (put up left hand thumb) c, d (put up right hand thumb). This will give them a guide as to which way the round part of the letter should be. They must go from left to right as if reading a book.
Hope this is of some help.
Easter Activities
P2 I have missed being in school and seeing you all every day. I'm so sorry my final year of teaching you was cut short, you really have been a wonderful class to teach. I hope you have been getting on well with the work packs that were sent home. Over Easter we are not setting any school work but I have attached some activities that you can complete to keep you busy especially since we still can’t get out and about like we would like to.
Don't forget to check out Seesaw for activities that have been uploaded that you may enjoy completing.
Colour the Sharing Egg (keep it neat). Finish the sentences at the bottom. Why not post this to the person you would like to share it with to make them smile because we can't visit people at the moment.
Egg Decorating
Ask an adult to boil some eggs. Watch what they are doing but don’t get too close. Once the eggs are hard boiled allow them to cool. Use felt tips or paints to decorate them. These can be hidden in the garden for you to find, or how about you hide them for your Mum and Dad to find. The decorating of the eggs doesn’t have to be done all in one session, take your time and don’t rush it. When you are done hiding the eggs you could roll them down a hill if there is one near you or roll them along the garden.
