What a busy Term 1 P3/P4 , Mrs Gibson and Mrs McKee have had!Im not sure who loved the chocolate topic more- staff or the pupils 😂.
We made hot chocolate and then completed a piece of procedural writing about how it was made.
Such a laugh we had during our bubble gum investigation which didn’t go quite as planned as we discovered most of us couldn’t blow bubbles.Amelia was our champion bubble blower but her bubbles burst before we could measure them 😂.
During our weight lesson it was very tempting not to eat the chocolate and sweets we were working with!
The gummy bear investigation we are pleased to say worked really well.We were very surprised at the changes to the gummy bears especially after being put in water.
The end to our topic was great fun.We made our own handmade chocolate Christmas sweets and sold them to the rest of the school. We had to come up with some interesting adjectives to encourage pupils to buy our sweets.P4 had to come up with a price list to enable us to make a profit. We used pic collage to make posters for our sale.
Well done P3/P4 🍫🍫😃😃
