Titanic Art - Inspired by the work of William Morris.
We began by looking at patterns in nature and then studied the work of designs and patterns by William Morris. We researched his printing styles and investigated his use of colour. Using a variety of different media we recreated a section of his most famous prints. We continued his patterns and eventually recreated his prints.
Titanic
A Victim in the Playground
We discovered a strange scene in the playground, a bundle of wet clothes with lots of clues to the identy of the owner.
Using our detective skills we found these clothes belonged to a third class passagener on the Titanic and began to piece together his life and why he was on the ship
Classes Study
We investigated the different classes onboard the Titanic. Charlotte brought in a beautiful painting which was signed by two Titanic Survivers, Eva Hart and Millvina Dean. We researched them and other passangers using the internet and provided fact files.
