In January 2018, we embarked on a Shared Education project with Millennium Integrated Primary School which focuses on developing all children’s skills in ICT and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths).
This Shared Education project is now in its fourth year and all children from P1-7 at Carr are involved with partner classes. Projects and lessons devised by our talented teachers have included:
During this school year, we will also become an accredited ‘Forest School’. A number of teachers will achieve the Level 2 accreditation to become a Forest School teacher and, as part of our Shared Education project, will share their skills with our partner school.
Shared Education has added another exciting dimension to our enriched curriculum and all children benefit socially as well as educationally.
