Yippee!! It's a bank holiday and I think you deserve a rest. You have been working so hard. I can see this especially in Seesaw, you have kept me so busy with commenting and approving your work, as so many of you have been completing the tasks and sending me pictures of your work and the other things you have been up to. If we were in school we would be off on Monday and Tuesday due to a bank holiday weekend. We thought it a little unfair to keep you working so I have included a much reduced menu. This week I want you to focus on having fun, only a few tasks and the rest are optional suggestions of fun activities to use if you get bored. I love to see photos of you all enjoying yourselves so don't forget to keep sending me some on seesaw.

Let’s leave phonics as we have been doing it and try it different way. Why not try practising the High Frequency Words you have been learning by building them with natural items you might find outside – see photograph below. You could even write your name this way too or even make the whole alphabet. Remember it is important to know the name of the letter as well as the sound it makes, so talk about this as you build your letters. Send me a picture of what you make.
Don’t forget that the numeracy games I have been putting up can be played at any time, I may not mention them on each menu but the more you play them the better you will be become in that area of Mathematics. Keep looking back at previous menus.
Other Tasks and Activities
If you have any other tasks or activities from Seesaw or the Website to complete from the previous weeks, then you can go back and do so. (If you have any problems accessing the activities on Seesaw through the Seesaw Class app, not the Seesaw Family App, then please do contact me via Seesaw or school email.)
