Wraparound Provision

Carr Kids

We appreciate that we have many busy parents.  To assist with families’ expensive childcare costs and to create greater flexibility for parents, we have developed a system of wraparound care.  This can be used daily for parents, for a specific period of time or on an ad hoc basis as required.

 

Breakfast Club runs between 8am and 8.45am daily.  Children can enjoy a healthy breakfast of cereal, toast, milk and juice (there is a charge for this service).

 

After School Waiting Club runs from 1.50pm-5.30pm daily (there  is a charge for this service).  The children can experience a range of fun creative and play activities, enjoy the digital technology or watch some DVDs.

 

Both Breakfast Club and After School Waiting Club are popular with our children.

 

Our wraparound care offers the following benefits:

  • The children are familiar with the staff
  • They have full access to many of the school facilities, including the grounds and play/sports equipment
  • No additional pick-up/collection/transport issues
  • Continuity of ethos/policies/organisational structure
  • Ease of parent arrangement/changes
